Anchor Mooring Systems

  • Mooring Winch
  • Mooring WinchInquiry
A mooring winch is a part of anchor mooring systems used during mooring operations to hold a boat in place at a pier or similar fixture. It is operated in a number of ways and fixed in place on the deck of a ship in key positions. Sailors must position and secure the ship carefully when it comes into port. When they are not in operation, they may be covered to limit exposure to the elements and reduce the...
  • Sheave Blocks
  • Sheave BlocksInquiry
Sheave blocks are composed of crown block and movable block. Pulley blocks can achieve the purpose of saving effort and changing the direction of force. With sheave blocks, the wire can be directed in any direction when leaving the winch. Equipped with pulley blocks, mooring winches can provide maximum installation in limited space. As an important part of anchor mooring systems, the sheave wheel is made...
  • Swivel Fairlead
  • Swivel FairleadInquiry
Swivel fairlead is also called swivel fairleader. It is a kind of marine swivel anchor fairlead in sheave blocks. It is designed for breaking strength of wire with 90°warp on sheave and more or less 90°rotation of swivel head. With sealed grease lubricated tapered roller bearings, swivel fairleads can harden rope grooves for longer life. It is often used to guide a line, cable or sheet with minimal friction....
  • Vertical Sheave
  • Vertical SheaveInquiry
Vertical sheave and vertical fairlead are usually defined to be synonymous. This marine vertical fairlead is usually used with fairleads. It allows various reeving arrangements to lead wire from the winch, around any obstacles on deck and into the fairlead. With more than 5 years' manufacture and export experience, our vertical sheaves own distinguishing features of wear-resistance, corrosion-resistance,...
  • Floating Sheave
  • Floating SheaveInquiry
As a supplementary to horizontal and vertical sheaves, floating sheaves provide flexibility for special and limited space installation and application of wire direction change. With more than five years' manufacture and experience, our company has become a professional enterprise engaged in design, R&D and production of marine engineering high-end equipment and mining products. Our products have...

A mooring system is composed of mooring line, anchor and connector. It is used for station keeping of a ship or floating platform in all water depths. A mooring line connects an anchor on the seafloor to a floating structure. Anchor mooring systems use two or more (often three) light-weight and temporary anchors set in an equilateral arrangement. They are all chained to a common center from which a conventional rode extends to a mooring buoy. The advantages are minimized mass, ease of deployment, high holding-power-to-weight ratio, and availability of temporary-style anchors. We are unique in providing designed mooring hardware and monitoring software. The configuration of anchor mooring systems not only relates to the platform’s operation orientation ability, but also directly affects many key factors of the vessel, such as variable load, configuration requirements of drilling equipment in power plant, etc. Our anchor mooring positioning system (including mooring winch, sheave blocks, controls, monitoring, energy packs) and related components can meet the complex need of the offshore industry. We can provide different configurations according to clients’ requirements.
